This deli is located next-door to Barnes & Noble. As soon as I walked in, I could smell a hint of bleach in the air which told me that this place prioritizes cleanliness. They make good use of their limited space. Their walls are lined with different snacks and beverages, and the service at the counter is quick. I ordered a tuna sandwich with a few fixings and a bag of chips. The tuna, lettuce, tomatoes, and pickles were all fresh and delicious! I don't make a habit of ordering tuna from places, because I am usually disappointed and I then have to question the freshness of the fish. This deli is a win, and I would absolutely recommend them.
We come here for the Sloppy Joe sandwich which is not the Sloppy Joe of my childhood (hamburger meat, onions, peppers and a tomato based barbecue sauce in a hamburger bun) but which is the more modern deli version of rye bread, corned beef, Swiss cheese, Russian dressing and coleslaw. It comes with two deli pickle slices. Delicious! There is a whole wall full of potato chips to choose from as a sandwich accompaniment. We also shared a piece of cake - choices of German chocolate, carrot cake or pumpkin. This is a very good take out deli at the Somerville Circle mall.
I promised pics. Today, I got the exact same Corned Beef on Rye with Russian Dressing & Cole slaw. 2x a charm. So good! I highly recommend.
They have the best lunch meat sandwiches. They make them fresh and to order. Also, they are reliable.....no question if my order gets made right.....it always does.
I haven't been here in years ,, always on diets , then I became gluten intolerant. I was getting my nails done and was very hungry and went in and asked if they had gluten free bread. They did. I got a turkey and Swiss with lettuce. Tomato and mayo and mustard and pickles. My goodness it was perfect !!! They give you 5 times the amount of cold cuts than Jersey mikes !!! The ladies were super nice and it was wrapped really great , too. I will definitely be back, now !!! Thumbs up for having gluten free bread!!!!!!
Great deli. Picked up some Kielbasa to take home. It was hanging on a rack. Super friendly!
